What we collect, why, and for how long

Sending an enquiry to a clinic

What
Your name, email, phone number if you give it, your message, and the service, date and budget you pick.
Why we may
Your consent, which you give with the tick box on the form. Anything about your health in the message is covered by your explicit consent.
How long
12 months from when you send it, then deleted.

Claiming and managing a listing

What
Your work email, the details you publish, sign-in links, and any document you upload to prove the business is yours.
Why we may
To provide the listing service you asked for (contract).
How long
Documents are deleted once the claim is decided, and never kept more than 30 days. Claims that are not finished, or are declined, are deleted after 12 months. Your owner account stays while you manage a listing.

Adding a new listing

What
Your name, email, phone number if you give it and your role at the business, the details you want listed, and the email address enquiries should go to.
Why we may
To provide the listing service you asked for (contract).
How long
12 months from when you send it, whether or not the listing goes live, then deleted. A live listing is then kept like any other listing.

Checking a practitioner’s registration

What
The practitioner’s name, the register and their registration number, entered by the business when it claims or adds its listing.
Why we may
Our legitimate interest in showing badges only where a public register backs them.
How long
While the badge is shown, and checked again every year.

Featured placements

What
Your name, email, business name, the town or city, and your phone number and message if you give them.
Why we may
To provide the placement you asked for (contract), and to keep the accounting records the law requires.
How long
Requests are deleted after 12 months, and placements that never go live or are cancelled after 12 months. Invoices and payment records are kept for 6 years, as tax law requires.

Reports, corrections and access requests

What
Your name or email and what you tell us about a listing.
Why we may
Our legitimate interest in keeping listings accurate and dealing with problems.
How long
12 months, then deleted.

Measuring how the site is used

What
With your permission only: Google Analytics cookies, the pages you view, the device and browser you use, and your approximate location from your IP address.
Why we may
Your consent, given in the cookie banner. You can change it at any time.
How long
14 months in Google Analytics, then deleted.

When you send an enquiry

We send your enquiry to the one clinic you chose, and email you a copy. Once the clinic has it, they are responsible for how they use it, under their own privacy notice. We don’t see their reply.

Only include health details you are happy for the clinic to read. We never send what you write in an enquiry, or your name, email or phone number, to Google Analytics or any other tag.

Business listings

Listings are built from public registers and open data: the Care Quality Commission, the Care Inspectorate, Care Inspectorate Wales, the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, Companies House and Overture Maps. Where a business is run by a sole trader, its name and contact details can be personal information. We publish them because of our legitimate interest in helping people find and compare services, and only as the source published them.

If you run a listed business and want a detail corrected or the listing removed, email hello@antiwrinkleinjections.co.uk. You also have the right to object to being listed, and we will stop publishing your details unless we have a strong reason to keep them that outweighs yours.

Counting clicks to listings

We count clicks to a listing’s phone number, website, booking page and directions so we can tell businesses how often they are contacted. These counts store which listing was clicked and when, and nothing about you: no cookie, IP address or device details.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal information. These companies handle it for us, under contracts that limit them to doing what we ask:

Maps load their images from OpenFreeMap. Your browser fetches them directly, so OpenFreeMap sees your IP address, as with any image on the web. Directions links open Google Maps, which then uses your information under Google’s own privacy policy.

We may also share information where the law requires it, or to protect people from harm.

Outside the UK

Some of these companies are based in the United States or may process data there. Where they do, the transfer is protected as UK law requires, through the UK–US data bridge or the UK’s approved data transfer clauses.

Cookies

We use a few cookies the site needs to work, and Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them. The cookie policy lists them all and lets you change your choice.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you or someone else in a reusable format. You can object to us using it on the basis of our legitimate interests. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what we did before.

To use any of these rights, email hello@antiwrinkleinjections.co.uk. We reply within one month. We make no decisions about you by automated means alone.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

The site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
